TDW-500 polymer flexible K11 waterproofing slurry is a new

 generation of colored cement-based waterproofing products.

The upgraded color formula ensures flawless waterproofing without 

missed application, delivering superior protection with confidence.

It also has certain flexibility, which can resist the slight vibration and 

slight displacement of the base layer.It has strong adhesion to substrate

 and good water resistance, and can also be used in long-term immersion environment.

• Ideal for waterproofing projects in kitchens, bathrooms, basements, balconies, sinks, exterior walls, and other indoor/outdoor applications.
• It can also be used in underground waterproof engineering such as underground garage, air-raid shelter, underground tunnel, subway culvert, etc.

The product complies with the requirements of Type II (flexible type) specified in the C/T 2090-2011 (2017) standard "Polymer Cement Waterproof Slurry", with the following key performance indicators:

Grassroots Treatment and Requirements

● The base layer shall be smooth and solid, free from standing water, floating dust, sand lifting, cracks, oil stains, and other defects such as loose materials;

● For loose sanding at the base layer, apply a wall-stabilizing primer to reinforce the substrate.

●Inspect the waterproofing base layer carefully, address any defects thoroughly, and clean it thoroughly.

● For pipeline grooves, holes, or cracks, apply Tiedewen Leak-Stopper for smooth repair.

● Prior to waterproofing application, the substrate must be thoroughly moistened with clean water until saturated, while ensuring no standing (open) water remains.

Construction technology

● Mixing ratio and dosage: Liquid material: Powder material = 1:2.5 (by weight); A 1mm-thick coating film requires approximately 2.0–2.4 kg of slurry per square meter, with a green color.

● Mixing: One bag of liquid material is mixed with one bag of powder material. First, pour the liquid material into the mixing bucket, then slowly add the powder material while stirring. Use an electric mixer to blend until uniform and free of lumps.

● Detail node treatment: Prior to large-area painting, apply a 20mm-diameter arc reinforcement strip (using Tiedewen adhesive) to leak-prone areas like floor drains, corners, and pipe roots, ensuring no interference with subsequent tile installation. Subsequently, apply waterproof coating to the nodes.

● Full-surface application: The waterproof coating should be applied in two to three coats, with each coat drying before proceeding to the next step, allowing a 2-4 hour interval. Under low-temperature or humid conditions, the drying time should be extended accordingly. The recommended thickness of the waterproof layer is 1.2-1.5mm, and a cross-application method (cross-stitch) is recommended during application.

● Maintenance and Water Retention Test: After the waterproof coating dries, it is recommended to apply water or spray mist for maintenance. The maintenance period should last no less than 48 hours. Only after maintenance can the water retention test be conducted, and the duration of water retention should not exceed 48 hours.

Matters need attention

● The construction temperature should be maintained between 5℃ and 35℃. Outdoor work is prohibited during strong winds or snowy/rainy weather.

● The prepared slurry must be used within 1 hour, and no additional water should be added during application.

● Strictly prohibit overwatering or adding any other materials during the mixing process;

● Unused liquid or powder materials after opening should be stored in a sealed container.

● During construction, ensure the waterproof coating is protected from damage;

● For waterproofing layer, use tile adhesive for secure installation.

● This product contains alkaline substances such as cement, which may cause skin allergies. Protective measures should be taken during use.

● If it comes into contact with the eyes, rinse immediately with water. If any discomfort occurs, seek medical attention immediately.

● Storage and shelf life: Store at room temperature for 18 months if unopened.
