Product Description
TDW-502 plastering mortar is formulated with high molecular polymer,
organic additives, and cement. The product is refined from crack-resistant
components and additives, suitable for thin-layer fly ash aerated blocks with
high flatness requirements. The masonry and plastering of aerated concrete blocks,
lightweight bricks, and aerated concrete blocks.
Scope of Application
A series of materials with high flatness, including fly ash reinforced masonry blocks, sand aerated concrete blocks, lightweight bricks, and aerated concrete blocks.
High-absorbency wall materials, lightweight partition walls, and lightweight partitions. The thickness of the thin plaster layer is generally 3~5mm, with a maximum plaster thickness not exceeding 8mm.

Construction Operations
Basic Treatment
The base shall be clean and meet the flatness requirements for plastering mortar (2-meter straightedge, error within 5mm); remove floating dust, grease, or loose materials from the base.
The concrete shear wall surface shall undergo roughening treatment, and the plastering leveling shall be performed only after the roughened layer has fully hardened.
For materials like expanded clay bricks, concrete hollow blocks, or standard clay hollow bricks, the base layer must be thoroughly cleaned. Before applying plaster, the surface should be fully moistened with water until no visible moisture remains, then proceed with leveling and plastering.
Plastering should be performed after the masonry or main structure has passed inspection, with any defective base layers or reserved conduits repaired beforehand.
Reinforcement shall be applied at all subgrade interfaces using alkali-resistant fiberglass mesh, with a minimum width of 250mm and a minimum overlap of 100mm with each subgrade layer.
Mortar Mixing
Water content: approximately 4kg per bag.
Manual application procedure: First, add water to the mixing bucket, then gradually incorporate the powder. Mix thoroughly with a machine for 3 minutes, followed by a 10-15 second rest period before use. The prepared mortar must be used within 1 hour. Never re-mix hardened mortar by adding water.
Leveling Construction
Reinforcement: Prior to plastering, the wall should be reinforced. For walls under 3.5 meters in height, vertical reinforcement is recommended, with a spacing of no more than 1.5 meters between bars. For walls exceeding 3.5 meters, horizontal reinforcement is preferred, with a spacing of no more than 2 meters between plaster marks and bars.
Manual plastering: For large-area plastering, apply in multiple layers, starting with edges and corners before covering the main surface. Within the same spacing of the reinforcement bars, complete the entire layer in one continuous pass. The plaster thickness should be 1-2mm thicker than the reinforcement bars, then use a smoothing tool to level it uniformly from bottom to top. The recommended construction thickness is 5-10mm.
Cleaning and Maintenance
The mortar should be left to cure naturally at room temperature after application. If the ambient temperature exceeds 35°C or when working outdoors, water spraying should be applied after the mortar hardens, with a curing period of at least 7 days.
Important Notes
Notes
should adjust water addition according to construction methods. The prepared slurry must be used within 1 hour, and no water should be added to hardened mortar.
For exterior wall construction in high-temperature environments, the wall surface should be properly moistened to prevent direct sunlight exposure of newly applied mortar.
Construction temperature should be maintained between 5-35℃. Operations are prohibited during extreme heat, frost, or winds exceeding level 5.
mixing utensils must be cleaned before and after use.
When applying waterproof mortar, avoid direct sunlight exposure to prevent rapid moisture loss that may compromise its strength.
Transportation and Storage
During transportation, protect the package from rain exposure and impacts to prevent damage.
should be stored in a cool and dry warehouse to prevent moisture, and direct sunlight and water contact are strictly prohibited.
Under normal transportation and storage conditions, the product has a shelf life of 12 months.
Safety Regulations
- This product contains cement components which may irritate the eyes and skin. Therefore, it is essential to wear appropriate protective equipment during application. In case of accidental eye contact, immediately rinse with clean water and seek medical attention promptly.
- Important note: The factory-installed palletizing wrapping film and wooden base tray enhance product protection against water, dust, and moisture. Do not damage them before use (these items are not included for small quantities).
